Write for us
We welcome pitches and finished contributions about the considered pleasures of a weekend: outings, gatherings, pastimes, seasonal observations and the choices that help free time find its shape.
What makes a strong pitch
Bring one clear subject, a specific reader question and a fresh angle. Explain what the piece would help someone notice, choose or plan, and why it can remain useful beyond one particular weekend. A focused proposal is more helpful than a broad list of possible topics.
The work we seek
We look for precise, self-contained writing with concrete details and a measured voice. Ideas should be safe for a general reader to act on without specialist or local-rule checks. We do not seek unsupported claims, disguised advertising or pieces that depend on invented experience.
How to send it
Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Include a short outline and any relevant context in the message. A proposal is not a promise of publication; we consider each idea on its fit and clarity.
A good weekend has room in it
A plan can give a day direction without filling every hour. We look for the small choices that make time off feel distinct and still leave room to wander.
